Hello All-
I have a D-link DIR825 N Router. I also have a DWA 552 PCI card on my PC in my home office but can not connect to the 5Ghz N network. (doesn't even show up)
I have downloaded the lasted firmware for both the network card and router.
The 2.4Ghz band is setup for G only with WEP.
The 5Ghz ban is setup for N only Channel width is 20Mhz
Setup for WPA personal- AES
My PC Stats are
XP Pro SP3
P4 3.00 GHz Dual Core
3G Ramm
512 MB ATI HD 4650
Back to the issue...
My laptop that has a factory G wireless card can see the N 5Ghz network that I set up, so I know the router is broadcasting the signal. I removed Dlinks software and tried just using windows, but can not see the N network. The card is picking up the 2.4ghz network.
what are my next options? Should I buy a different card for my PC, if so who makes good cards for HD streaming.
thanks for the help
Ed
