I have a DGL-4500 that is working normally with my a Workstation, Tivo, X-Box 360, and a Laptop. I had my PSP connected at one time also. However I can no longer connect my PSP or an HP 4400 tablet to my router. I have checked the configuration on the working devices and have set the PSP & HP Tablet up the same. The tablet connects fine to other wireless APs. Neither one will connect after I save their configurations. I get connection to the access point timed out. I have tried WPA-PST (TKIP & AES). The router is set for: WPA Personal, WPA Mode (Auto), Cipher Type (TKIP and AES). I have reentered and save the Key so I know I am using the correct one. Any Ideas

for troubleshooting, what happens is you don't use any encryption?

I've read that some portable devices STILL only support WEP, which is sad. I think specifically I read that about the nintendo DS recently. Are you sure the PSP and the tablet support WPA?
-
Yes it does. As I have had it connected to this router in the past. All I did was change the pass word as I could not remember what it was. I also forgot my Blu-Ray is also connected just fine. I know the HPO 4200 supports WEP as we use that at work. I need & want security as I do not want to support my neighbors with my WIFI

Sorry, For trouble shooting purposes is what I should have stated, what happens if you don't use any passwords?

One stupid thing I did once after changing a password but keeping the default SSID, I was trying to connect to someone else's network also with that same default SSID without realizing it, and thus my password was always incorrect on that network. Doh.

;D Ya that would be cause for confusion. LOL. ::)
