Title: Will DAP-1522 work as both a Bridge and an AP at the same time?
Post by: Boots418 on March 31, 2010, 11:15:48 AM

I am about to buy a DAP-1522.   I need it to work as an AP to connect my DVR and PS3 with a CAT5 cable.  I also need it to work as a bridge so that I can wirelessly access my network with a laptop on that side of the home.   The description says it is a Bridge/AP, but I'm just not 100% sure that means  Bridge and/or AP.   I'd like to make this purchase today so I can have everything by this weekend to install.   I plan on connecting wirelessly with a DLG-4500.

Thank you in advance for your help!

No, the DAP can't do both at the same time.
It either acts as client bridge or as AP.

Yea, that is what I had a feeling would be the answer.  Thanks for setting me strait before I made the purchase!
