Hey guys I just got a public range all for myself! Is there any way I can have DHCP running on this router and also the public range? I want to set up a ftp server etc with the public range but not to sure how to do it. Most of my equipment uses the normal 192 addresses and thats great but I want one or two computers to use the public address can anyone help?

Most D-Link DIR router would not allow you yo use a range of IPs for the WAN access.

You can do this by using another small switch to connect both your WAN connection and Cable Modem to. Your 628 would be configured as normal. Then you can connect the other public pc's to the switch with the proper public address. The ip address of your systems will not be in any DNS so you will have to either remember the IP addresses or create a hosts table on your machines.
