I occasionally use my TV's DLNA software (to stream video from my office PC) but I do permanently leave the adaptor plugged into it just to save me the hassle. The DIR-655, of course, is communicating with the tv at all times when it's on but as long as I'm not streaming or actively using the tv's internet connection, it shouldn't affect the quality of my wireless network all that much at all, right? I mean, it's probably just harmless keep alive pings or something, going on? Or should I pull the adaptor out of the tv and place it in only when I need it? I usually use PS3 Media Server but the occasional file will only work with Samsung's DLNA.
