Hi everyone,
Hope this hasn't been covered somewhere else already; I had a look at the FAQ and couldn't find anything to help me.
The problem is, I can connect to the wireless, but I will have no internet. I'm not sure why the issue has cropped up all of a sudden, it was working fine a few days ago. I'm using a Dell Vostro 3500; fairly certain it has nothing to do with the actual laptop as I'm not at work and having zero issues with internet connectivity.
On the DIR-655, I know I'm successfully connected to the network as I can browse network folders on my desktop, and it's listed as connected on the configuration page of the router.
So any ideas guys? ???

Do you have a IP address on the Status page of the router in the WAN section?
Subnet mask should normaly be 255.255.255.0 (can be 255.255.254.0 as set on my router)
Default gateway and DNS should show IP numbers in the range you find at the IP address received.
So if your ip starts with e.g. 89.12.122.107
default gateway will show 89.12.nn.xxx (xxx likely to be .1)
dns can be anything but with regular ISP also in the range 89..... (but could differ per ISP)
hope this gets you one step further.

Have you disabled SecureSpot? What is the error message that appears in your browser when you try to go online?

I'm having the same problem with a Dell Laptop with Windows Vista & Dell Laptop with Window 7 all my XP Desktops & Laptops are fine. But the Vista & Windows 7 keep losing the internet access but are on the network.
Securespot is not enabled. Any help would be great. Firmware is up to date

I had the same problem, LAN was working (1 laptop, 2 desktops) but WAN was now (no internet).
I tracked it down to Daylight Saving Time setting.
Try turning it off and setting the time manually.
It has been working great ever since I did that.
I hope this helps.
