Title: create a static route for PPTP client to connect 2nd site in geografic wan
Post by: ilGrifo on April 08, 2010, 05:43:23 AM
hi to all,

I configure a DFL800 with a dadicate ADSL for clients PPTP, and it work fine,
the clients out of office connect to local lan and use terminal server with RDP for internal applications.
there is another office connected by wifi bridge in other subnet and i need to connect the PPTP clients
at this lan.

local LAN  192.0.0.x/24
dfl800 IP  192.0.0.80
router for wifi bridge 192.0.0.200

detached office LAN 200.1.1.x/24
router d.o. 200.1.1.200

I use the how to:
http://files.dlink.com.au/Products/DFL-210/REV_A/SetupGuides/How_to_set_Static_Route_on_LAN.pdf

but it work fine with the internal lan routing, from lan 192.0.0.x/24 to 200.1.1.x/24 and not for PPTP.

in detached office there is an ADSL connection for internet access without firewall for vpn.

thank you,
Andrea F.

There is going to be an IP rule issue if your LAN can route to that net but not your VPN.
