Title: DCS-910 vs DCS-920 vs DCS-1100 lens
Post by: toppy on April 09, 2010, 04:45:05 AM
Hi, I was hoping some one can tell me which camera has better "night vision"?  It seems like the DCS-910 has the brighter lens of F1.9.  The DCS-920 and DCS-1100 has a F2.8 lens but it is a bigger lens (5.01mm vs 4.57mm).  How does the pictures at night compare between the three cameras?  I currently have the DCS-910 and like it's night capabilities, but it is not really available at stores anymore.  The 920/1100 are available but at least on paper to me looks to not have as bright of a lens?

I have a bunch of 920's, and when using D-ViewCam 3.0, you can post-record boost signal levels dramatically.
I can not give you any info on the 1100, as I do not own one of these.

I am happy with it, but it only works on saved video, image snapshots stay unchanged, but can be enhanced with your run-of-the-mill photoshop program, if needed.
