Title: DIR-655 Wireless Init Failed
Post by: pdrachman on April 11, 2010, 12:51:02 PM
All of a sudden I cannot connect by wireless, but am able to still connect DIR-655 by hardwire -using hardware version A3 and Firmware version 1.32NA.

The error message when I visit http://192.168.0.1/ - under <Status> <General>< Wireless LAN> is:

DIR-655 Wireless Init Failed.

I have tried to reset, reconfigure and reboot but am still unable to connect by wireless – unable to see SSID.

Please advise what to do asap.

That is usually a sign of a broken radio, call D-Link support to see about getting it replaced.
