Title: Benefits of having a mixed g/n 2.4GHz band (vs dedicated g)?

Are there any benefits of having the 2.4GHz band mixed (g/n)? My 5Ghz band is dedicated to n, but I'm not 100% sure if I should mix or dedicate the 2.4 Ghz band? Thoughts? Opinions?
