firmware Version: 1.32NA
Hardware Version: A4
I have been using the DIR 655 for about 2 months now. I have noticed it kept rebooting between 5 - 6 days. The max is 6 days. I have never had it worked for more than 6 days.
Any ideas????

Try the upgrade to 1.34. Can only get better.

Hi f11b2,
Are you using Static or Dynamic IP Address Assignments? Try using Static and see what happens.

Hi thecreator,
I got a AT&T Yahoo DSL with Dynamic IP with PPPoe on the router.
How can I assign a static IP because my service is Dynamic IP?
Thanks.

Hi f117b2,
You can't be a Static IP Address, for your IP Address, itself.
You can use a Static IP Address, for the Devices that are attached to your Router. And that's what I am talking about.
This page http://192.168.0.1/Basic/Network.shtml (http://192.168.0.1/Basic/Network.shtml) is where you go to assign Static IP Addresses for all the Wireless and Wired Devices on your Network.
The Dynamic IP Address is assigned by your ISProvider to the Modem only, not to devices on your Network.

OK. I have 6 devices (desktop, laptop and HD media players). They all have static IP address. I also have a laptop from works. That is the only one I don't assign a static IP because it is from work.
Thanks.

1.32NA is notorious for spontaneous resets--my A4 was rebooting every day or so.
If you upgrade to 1.34 (in beta) or even 1.33 you will see improvement.

The only issues I used to experience before the recent firmware, is that when a few wireless devices where using the 655, it would seem to slow up and struggle, but since upgrading to 1.33 it's been really stable.

Thank guys. I will upgrade to 1.33 and let you know how it goes.

use 1.34 as it is the best over here.
