I currently have firmware version 1.32NA (2009/07/09), and every couple of days or so I experience WAN slow-ups and disconnections, after which I have to reboot the computer.
For this reason I tried to upgrade to firmware version 1.33NA. The upload and everything else seem to go fine, but then, at the end, without any error message, the firmware version remains the same, at 1.32NA.
Has anyone else experienced this or has a solution?

Reset the router to the factory defaults, either by the button on back or the reset button in the admin web interface. Then do your flash and it should take.

I had been baffled by this SAME problem for weeks. Resetting it back to factory defaults first (even though that was still 1.32) allowed me to finally upgrade the firmware to 1.33! Hopefully, this will also fix the continuous Wireless Restarts that have plagued my routher...

I had the same problem, also worked after a reset. I saved the settings first, and had no problem restoring them.

Unfortunately, on a side note, this did nothing to fix my constant "wireless restarts" for this router. Back to the drawing board...

Wireless restarts can be caused by interference from neighbors. Download the program Inssider (http://www.metageek.net/products/inssider) to see what traffic is in your area.

I looked at that program. There is another wireless signal in the same range as mine, but mine is much stronger. The problem is that there are 2 other signals effectively covering the rest of the range of channels. I can't really change to another channel and think that it will improve, unless there is something about that particular signal in my range that is causing problems...

Have you checked at both locations (router and client)? Could be other influences are at play here...

Good idea. I went down to the router, and there are still showing signals in all the ranges. At the client, the signal for my LAN isn't a whole lot stronger than the other signal in that range, but it is still stronger.
