Hi!
I bought DIR-615 roughly a year ago (rev. B2). Friend of mine bought one yesterday. Now, he claims that his router is smaller than mine. Is this true? If this is the case, does he have a later revision? I've heard that rev. D is latest, so is it conceivable to conclude that rev. D is smaller than earlier (rev. B) versions?
PS. Why isn't there a subforum part for DIR-635. Is this model discontinued?

There is even an F revision. D revisions are sold primarily in Europe, B, C (Atheros chipset) and E revisions in US, E being the latest in US. These rev have also subrevisions D1 (Ralink chipset), D2...D4. Same product, different revision means different hardware, even for models of the same revision group (eg D1 different h/w than D2). So the size might differ too. But in this case the size doesn't matter. ;D

Sweet information!
So..
Rev. B & C is Atheros-based chip.
Rev. D is Ralink.
What about rev. A, rev. E & rev. F???
Got any info on these?
However, your statement "E being the latest" stands in contradiction to "There is even an F revision".
This makes me a bit confused :)
