Title: When can we expect new firmware to be released?

First, let me say that v1.0 firmware is not too bad, and I was pleasantly surprised that everything seems to work pretty much as I'd expect.  There are a few rough edges (and seemingly missing features), though, and I'm eager to see what a few updates might bring us.  

I saw another post that indicated a new firmware is being tested, but nothing about when we might see it.  I understand that testing cycles are important, and that they can take quite some time to complete, but I'm impatient for information...

There will be new firmware, however I do not have a date right now.
