Title: Auto Power Up DNS-323 after Power Failure
Post by: Moose-MI on April 21, 2010, 06:54:37 PM
Is it possible to have the DNS-323 turn itself back on after a power failure?  Or is it possible to remotely turn it on without pressing the front button?

I just changed the battery in my UPS the other day and was wondering the same thing.  If there isnt a thread in the beta forum with a request for this we should start one.

I believe that Rev C hardware can auto-start after power failure but Rev A and Rev B hardware can not.

v1.08 firmware has an option tools -> power management -> power recovery enable/disable which I assumed to be a autostartup on power return after power failure.

Correct!

What is different about the C revision hardware that allows it to auto-restart?

It's different hardware obviously.
