Hey guys,
This is my problem... When I log into my PS3, everything is fine. Once I download a demo for example, my entire network slows down to a stop and stays at a low speed until I pause the download on the PS3. Not sure why this happens, I've tried everything. I'll post some of the settings that I am using now.
Wireless Channel: 3
Wireless Security: WPA and WPA2
TKIP and AES
QOS: Enabled (But nothing is entered in the blanks)
DNS Relay: Enabled
I can go on, but I hope some of you have came across this problem. It just seems when PS3 downloads something... it lags my entire network.
Please help me out because I really need this problem resolved, if it's possible.
Thank you in advance...

I am experiencing the exact same problem.
The weird thing is that this just started tonight. My PS3 has been working fine for a while, and it all of a sudden kills my network.
I'm not sure what the issue is, exactly.
I'm on my laptop at the moment. The wireless works fine when the PS3 is not accessing the internet, and pings to the router result in <1ms.
As soon as I start doing something with the PS3, the pings jump anywhere from 100-1000ms.
When I access the router menu and ping a specific website, all is well. But for the PCs and PS3 accessing the network wirelessly, it's all screwed up.
I'm going to play around with the settings, and I'll let you know if I find anything that works. In the mean time, I have an old WRT54G that I'm going to configure as a bridge until I have the time to troubleshoot this problem.

Really simple, your PS3 is claiming all the bandwidth. This is how wireless networking works... ::)\
You need to actually configure QoS ánd Wish by filling in the blanks, that's the only way you can give less priority to resp. your WAN throughput (QoS) and wireless performance (WiSH).
