After realizing I could only configure the bridge through IE, I was able to get it up and running in my living room, and it was able to associate with my wireless-N router.
The only problem now is that most of the options under SETUP->WIRELESS->NETWORK SETTINGS are greyed out. I am able to click on SITE SURVEY, and edit "Enable Wireless", "Wireless Network Name", and "Channel Width". However, 802.11 Band, 802.11 Mode, Enable Auto Channel Scan, Wireless Channel, Transmission Rate, and Visibility Status are all greyed out. (I am using IE8 under Vista SP2.)
All other options in the DAP-1522's menus are editable except those mentioned above. I've already tried rebooting the router and reloading the firmware. What do I need to do to edit these options?

Seem to have found my answer by going way back in these forums. Apparently, in bridge mode, certain options are greyed out since they are configured by the router/AP it's connecting to.
I upgraded from a Linksys WGA600N (which would lose its wireless connection everytime I plugged an Ethernet cable into it), and all of those greyed out options on the DAP were configurable in the Linksys model.
