Well To start off I wanna introduce myself, My name is Joe and I am a new d link customer and a big gamer.
My question is about the dir 615 and how i could shape bandwidth/traffic (and yes I did a search but didn't find what I wanted.) My problem is that me and my girlfriend use the internet at the same time and I'm experiencing lag while I'm on Xbox live. I play Xbox and she uses netflix to stream shows and movies. I did the whole port forwarding for the Xbox but i still have voice lag and sometimes in game lag. I did some searching and found out that The voice chat comes through port 80 and so does netflix. I only experience this problem when it buffers it seems. I have a decent connection (12mbs down and 1mbs up) and I don't think i should be lagging like this. So i guess my question is how can i limit her from eating all the bandwidth and not ruin the Netflix streaming for her? And i already have qos enabled. no help. ???
