Title: Using access controls

I've set up a web proxy on my LAN and I thought I'd just go in and block all outgoing access to port 80 except from the machine running the proxy. But it's not obvious to me how I can do that with the 4100 access controls.

The router seems to want me to explicitly list the machines I want to block, instead of blocking all by default and listing the one exception. Is that true or am I missing something?

To use access controls, you need to setup a schedule via Schedules page at http://routerip/Tools_Schedules.html (http://routerip/Tools_Schedules.html) (where routerip is the IP address of your router to access the web-interface). You could setup a schedule that covers Every Day and All Day - 24 hrs. Then you would go to Access Control page at http://routerip/Advanced_Access_Control.html (http://routerip/Advanced_Access_Control.html). You would want to create a policy that applies your schedule and you want to select Other Machines and add that to the list of machines affected.

Other Machines means every machine [not listed], which would be anything that is connected to your network.

I'm missing something. I understand how to set up a rule to block all web access, but I want to have an exception for one machine at a specific IP address. Is there a way to do that?
