Title: dpr-1260 & jumbo packets
Post by: Tiny on May 15, 2010, 02:14:44 PM

It took me a while to find out that the dpr1260 will look up immediately when it's connected to a network that has jumbo packets enabled (MTU bigger then 1500) and someone is trying to access it. Firmware is 1.24.

Is there any solution to fix this?

Hey Guy..

Wish I had seen your post earlier.. I'm not trying to take your credit for finding the jumbo frame issue I posted the same findining in the main tread... I Just discovered it myself..  But I did note that I can use jumbo frames on any PC in my network not using a 64 bit OS's and setting all my 64 Bit OS's to normal frames allows everyone to work OK..

same thing happened to me. thanks to this post i was able to get back into my print server. was about ready to go out and buy a new one. wish d-link would fix this, they dont have to add jumbo frame support, but allowing it to keep working while there is jumbo frames on the network would be handy.
