Title: Do i need hard drives to run DNS323 as a print server?
Post by: bennychains on May 15, 2010, 07:03:08 PM
I am still waiting for my hard drives to come in the mail (Model: WD7501AALS - http://www.wdc.com/en/products/products.asp?driveid=487) but in the meanwhile, i am trying to get my printer networked. Its a HP PSC 1350 all in one.  the 1300 is on the approved list.

I can see it as available in windows explorer and i updated the local port so its directed to the DNS323, but nothing prints out.

I know it works with my computer, but its not printing through the DNS.

Any ideas?

Im running Win7.

Thanks!

At least one drive is required as a print queue is built on the drive when a print job is sent.
