Does anyone know if the Dir 615 can be used as a repeater instead of a wireless router? I don't use my dir 615 anymore so thought of putting it to another use.

Flash the dd-wrt firmware http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database (http://www.dd-wrt.com/site/support/router-database) on it and set it up as a repeater.
See this link for that. http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/AP_Repeater_on_DLINK_Dir-300 (http://www.dd-wrt.com/wiki/index.php/AP_Repeater_on_DLINK_Dir-300). Don't worry about the dir-300 specifics it is the same for 615 too.

I've flashed it with the latest v24 software and 'repeater' is not an option. I successfully made my Linksys into a repeater and was going to do it on the DIR-615 C1, which is the version that D-Link started using non-detachable antenna! Aaargh!
