Hey there,
I played around a little bit with Airodump-ng on my own network and now I am unable to find my Router again in iwlist ra0 (Ubuntu 10.04). All the other networks in reach are viewable, but my own is missing.
Maybe my DIR-655 kicked me out? I already tried to disable Anti-Spoofing in the System menu, but this doesn't help.
Any ideas?
Best Regards
Christian

Your router havent kicked you out !
SEARCH IN YOUR OP.

worst case...do a hard reset of the router....
you lose your setttings, but your original router options should be there once again....

installing omnipeek driver or all other capture driver can sometime brick your wireless adapter ;D
i brick 2 adapter before i get my trendnet tew-644ub wireless n adapter that work perfectly under xp
for paquet capture with ''WinAircrackPack'' and the latest omnipeek driver on ralink support site ;D
sometime when i install a capture driver like this. i'm not able to see my dir-655. (i wish that my neigboor have this problem too whit my dir-655 ;D)
uninstall your wireless card and driver and re-install it whit the appropriate driver from the original manufacturer of your wireless card and the problem is solved.

The 655 will not kick it's SSID or users in any way, so the problem is located somewhere else.
