Title: Firmware 1.23NA Admin password issue
Post by: Bashh on May 19, 2010, 01:58:12 PM
So I updated from 1.13 to 1.23NA, and when I did I saved my config file. Once the router finished and reloaded the page, I logged into 192.168.0.1 with the Admin / blank password fine, uploaded my config, and my old password didn't work, says "invalid / wrong password". Blank field didn't work either. Thinking there was an issue with my config file, I reset my router and changed the login password manually, which still changed it from the blank, but still told me my password was invalid.

While my WAN still has a password and works fine, I'd still like the admin to have one, and I'd like to know if there's a fix to this or not.

I've seen this happen when I tried to change it via FireFox.  It did work correctly when I switched to IE.

Using chrome currently, I'll try IE later, but that's pretty ridiculous.

Yeah, I know!  The web pages should be standard but who knows what MS does?
