For best performance please connect your Playstation 3 via Ethernet cable and then try again and let us know how it goes. But it should work fine, Try checking if you are out of range of wireless signal from the playstation 3  and Dgl4500. One other main issue can be your Isp maybe your internet connection is not fast enough to keep up with the host of the match. Because when you invite someone to your party and you go into a game it could most likely be is that the game matchmaking kicks you out because of bad connection to host. Did you try forwarding? If you did not i would be most happy to guide you through it. First login into the router interface, once in, Navigate to advance then gaming. Add a gaming rule.
ADD GAME RULE
Enable : check
Name : Call of duty Mw2
IP Address : Your static Ip you gave it. Fury nutz has link top ^^^^
TCP Ports to Open : 27014-27050
UDP Ports to Open : 1500,3005,3101
Inbound Filter : Allow all
Schedule :   Always

Just to clerify, your ISP is a Wireless provider? If so, I've never seen a good stable gaming connection with Wireless providers much. I have a couple of friends that had Clearwire for a while, we used to play Halo, they would eventually lag out of the game. I would highly recommend getting Wired DSL or Cable internet services for gaming. Let us know if this is the case so we can better help you.

wireless

Please let me know what ISP service you have, Wireless, DSL or CABLE? Please review the gaming and game fuel stick at the top of this forum for your questions about short gi, spi and sip.

According to furrynutz thread/guide he stated that you should disable short Gi. When it comes to router I am very good on my own. I do not know were are the Spi or Sip  settings on the router please be more specific as were in the router those settings are -_-. Help us help you for example FurryNutz has asked you who is your ISP (Internet service provider) You answered Wireless that is wrong unless you men't your service provider is a wireless service such as direct TV Ect. Which will most likely be the cause of your online issues. Did you try port forward? Fail worked? did the settings at least help a bit? yes no? Remember we are here to help you. Please remember for optimum performance you must connect the Ps3 Via Ethernet cable. Also remember do not make more threads about the same issue one should be fine.

I thought other posts here have concluded that port forwarding is unnecessary for console gaming?

Well sometime you need to open certain ports in order to fix your Nat Type. on call of duty dolla do you get a nat type of moderate? if so i believe port forwarding should do the trick

port forwarding in Gaming isn't needed for COD. Just follow the GameFuel section and you'll be fine.

I men't you nat type inside game Like run call of duty go online if it says nat type open no need to port forward. But furrynutz is true there is no need to port forward. But try it u never know. Also are you sure you
did everything in the thread and still geting the same issue?

If your using Time Warner Wireless then I would recommend getting a wired internet service provider for playing online games as wireless can have adverse effects on gaming and can't provide seamless and a stable connection for gaming.
