Title: E-Mail Log Alert and System Time Setting
Post by: jrak on May 28, 2010, 12:39:00 PM
My DNS-323 is set up to e-mail a system log every day at 2:00.  It failed to send an e-mail alert today and when I checked, its clock was ahead by an hour.  A few months back, I set the DNS-323 to Atlantic Time (I'm in the Eastern Time Zone), to compensate for a firmware bug.  It appears that the system clock no longer needs this adjustment.

Has anyone else noticed this?

What version of firmware are you using.  I've seen this on and off for both the DNS-321 and DNS-323.  Currently, mine are actually keeping proper time.

I'm using version 1.08.  It was sending my e-mail alerts like clockwork until today.

Mine is all working normally now, hopefully it'll stay that way. :)

I tested the e-mail alert this evening and it is working.  And the time is now correct.  I hope it stays this way as well.
