Title: 825 5 Ghz Band
Post by: dloose on May 29, 2010, 10:49:19 AM
I have a new 825 B1, running 2.03 NA firmware. I have the 2.4 GHz band at G and N to talk to some older G only stuff (original Squeezebox) and the 5 GHz band is set to N only to work with a DAP-1522 in my media center. On the router's STATUS page in the 5 Ghz band the mode flips between 802.11n and 802.11a. A DWA 160 wireless adapter on my laptop confirms that the 5 GHz band is using both A and N modes. The router is definetly NOT set to N and A. Anyone else seen this behavior? How do I lock it in N?

Are you sure in the manual wireless configuration page, it's not set for mixed mode? Does it say 802.11n only?
