Title: Virtual Server - SMTP
Post by: Aevalin on May 30, 2010, 06:56:55 AM
Hi Everyone,
I have a SBS 2008 Server running Exchange 2007.  There's a cable modem, the new DIR-655 I just purchased, a switch and the server is running from the switch.   I'm using Virtual Server to open port 25 for SMTP and Port 443 for HTTPS (plus 987 for Sharepoint but I haven't tested that yet).  The Router has a static IP with the DHCP turned off.  I'm using the virtual server to pass traffic from the router to the SBS box.  But nothing will connect to SMTP - the port is unreachable.  Any suggestions?
