Ok so yesterday i unplug my DGL-4500 which has been working great ever since dlink replaced it under warranty a couple of months ago. I moved the desk out, put a rug under it, then moved everything back. Plugged the router back up and everything appeared normal. But i seem to have two problems that i think are related. I am using Virtual server rules to forward ports it has always worked in the past.
1. nothing can seem to UPNP with it to open ports (all was working fine before i unplugged it)
2. I am unable to manually forward a port of any kind to anywhere also all my existing port forwards (remote desktop, vnc, slingbox, ip cams, games) all of them have stopped working as well.
So here is my Setup Verizon Westell DSL Modem plugged directly into the WAN port on my DGL-4500 desktop, slingbox, dish box all wired coming out and everything else wireless.
SO far i have updated the firmware to the newest version available. Not sure what else to try from here. All settings appear correct. Ohh yeah and i tried unplugging and plugging it back up again i figured thats what broke it maybe it will fix it. Needless to say that didn't work.
Any Avice or help would be appreciated?

I'm having the same problem... when I play certain online games, I get bad connectios and I'd have to disconnect the router just to play a online game... port forwarding isn't working...

are you playing online PC games or console games?
