Hi everyone, I came across this and thought it would help answer a lot of questions regarding the 4500 performance capabilities.  Here is the link

It is an extensive 12 page review of this router and how it performs using different features. For example how much limitations wep protection has on the speed of the router when using 5.4ghz.

Also there are a lot of members fed up with the 4500 and want a new router. This offers in depth look into a lot of routers and how they perform.
