Post by: jmy2469 on June 16, 2010, 12:22:08 PM
Just read about the new DLink DIR-665 router. Would the DGL-4500 be a beter router for somoene who does online gaming? Not just using this for gaming, this is going to run everything that I have on my network. Thanks for the info.

Haven't had any experience with the 665. I would post this question in that forum and see if there is anyone else using it for gaming. As for the 4500. It rocks for gaming.  ;D

No DIR 665 section yet, I would have placed it there. Saw section for DIR 660.

Well I did notice that DLink makes mention of a yes or no type of device for gaming. They say NO for the 665 and they say Yes for the 4500. Let us know what you get.  ;)

Take a look at the Gameing and Gamefuel stickys.

What ISP service do you have? DSL or cable?
ISP modem a stand alone modem or does it have a built in router?
