What happened to the beta sub-forum?
1.09 launched today and 1.10 is not ready. Since there is no active beta the forum is hidden until the next one opens up.

OK, I missed the launch, I'll have to look for that. :)

had a look for 1.09 hoping it would fix my problem but cant find it on either the web or ftpsite

I found it here: ftp://ftp.dlink.com/Multimedia/dns323/
The only change from v1.08 is the ctera backup stuff as per the readme.
Firmware: 1.09
Date: 06/16/10
1. Support CTERA Online Backup.

thank you,

Big deal. This is as exciting as watching paint dry. It is just 1.09 beta renamed so that D-link can say that they put out a new firmware release. But this one has been around since the first of the year. Are we ever going to see a NEW REAL firmware that addresses the mountain of complaints that 1.08 and 1.09 have.
One of these days D-Link will suprise us with a real release. Until then we can watch paint dry, grass grow, molasses pour, my grandma Ethyl get out of the chair and D-Link coming out with a NEW release.

spending my night trying to connect to my 323 to turn off some torrent downloads. but because memory management is so bad, and their software is so buggy, i cant even connect to the 323 to turn the problem off.
its unfortunate when companies dont offer the support that their product require, and force their customers to waste their personal time on sub-par products and software.

Do you mean via the web interface? I've never had a problem connecting to the web interface of the DNS-323. Although I don't run torrent downloads. You could always purchase the content legally I suppose ;)

There is a problem with the BT client screwing the web interface up, apparently the only way back in is to power down and restart.

There are loads of legal torrents btw
