Title: virtual servers list resetting
Post by: pvirc on June 30, 2010, 08:03:13 AM
Here's my issue.  everything was working perfectly 1.34na firmware.  I am running a custom built windows home server, I have a home pc win 7 ultimate 64 bit.  The whs is mostly media streaming that kinda thing.  I have everything locally connected with cat6 cables.  For larger file transfer (at other locations remotely )  I am using filezilla server.  This works good for weeks no issues.  so iam thinking its the new firmware  originally i was using 1.21
trying some things to try and figure this out....
I have had some port forwarding issues (alerts, just saying cannot verify port forwarding) on my whs. but testing they do not affect anything, I still can connect to my homeserver site remotely and ftp remotely.   So I started to look at other settings

the stupid dir 655 in advanced tab for virtual server, the box remains blank, I have to log in and check mark the box, click save.  now no matter the time duration I am not on pc,  when  i log back into 192.168.0.1  and check my settings the virtual server settings the box always goes blank.

I have reset cable modem, router, pc, server, checked all my settings.   The router should keep my settings saved.  I dont think my router is even three years old. I have the router reserve the ip of my whs.  So basically, I don't i understand why my router does not retain any saved settings on the advanced virtual server page.

thanks
paul

old topic/ check beta version

delete all entries, save, set up one by one saving each time + reboot

and you will find one incompatible with firmware.
