Title: New router cannot connect wirelessly

I received my dir 655 in the mail this morning and have spent 6+ hours trying to get my laptop to connect to it wirelessly. I can connect to the internet when using an ethernet cable but cannot using wireless.
I've gone through the setup numerous times ans I just can't get it to work. At the moment I can't even see my router in the wireless device list.

I've looked everywhere for info on how to set it up but couldn't find anything so that's what led me here.
Can someone please guide me through it or tell me what I need to do?

Okay I managed to get it working at 300mb/s
