Title: Does anyone know how to add the 323 to a Windows 7 homegroup?
Post by: chewy on July 03, 2010, 03:11:29 PM
Anyone??

I can see it normally in the "network" thing, but I would love to see it in the "homegroup" thing as I see the rest of my computers.

cheers.

You can't, Homegroup isn't supported on any NAS that I know of, including the D-Link models.

Would it not just be a matter of changing the name on the Setup->Device->Workgroup?

No. "Workgroup" is for workgroup networks as opposed to domain. Homegroup iirc requires indexing to be supported which no NAS will do, nor alot of external drives
