Title: Please help! Newbie!
Post by: Frogthor on July 06, 2010, 11:19:09 AM
I have a wireless DIR-615 and I have an older computer that I want to connect to my router wirelessly. I can't figure out how to accomplish this! I have tried using the disk but it will not work (I am not sure what to do with the disk). How do I do this?!

A few questions...

On the DIR-615 firmware is Wireless enabled? (i.e. are you able to connect with other computers?)
Does your computer "see" the DIR-615 but can't connect?
Do you have any encryption enabled?
Are you using any MAC filtering?

Does this older computer have a wireless adapter?  You need some type of wireless network adapter that will be able to receive the wireless signal from the DIR-615 router.
