Title: Is it possible to change the antenna on DIR-615?
Post by: david_uk on July 16, 2010, 11:03:29 AM
Been doing a bit of surfing and came across cantenna and wok-fi. Incredible what people can do! This led me to think about increasing the signal on my router. There isn't really a problem, but it would be good to increase the signal a little to give my daughter a better signal and hopefully increase the speed. I see you can get high gain antenna from various suppliers, and was wondeing is changing the antenna's supplied with the router for high gain ones would boost the signal, or kill the thing?

Only on Rev A or B. Starting with C the antennae are fixed. And I don't think DD-WRT is available for A or B.
