Title: DFL-210 VPN Client to Site
Post by: crobison on July 18, 2010, 06:26:22 AM
I used the vpn DFL-210, DFL-800, DFL-1600 How To Setup PPTP VPN Between Windows PPTP Client and the Firewall instructions.  I setup the Microsoft VPN Client and I am able to login no problem, but the IP that is assigned is the one configured for vpn on the firewall.  The issue is that it is not assigning a gateway or dns to be able to access the internal network..  I am 99% of the way there, just need to know what I have to configure to get the gateway and dns..

Thanks you..

Do you want to have Internet thru DFL when you're connected?

You do not need a gateway for PPTP traffic, all traffic egresses over the tunnel.

If you need a DNS it goes under Interfaces->PPTP Server, its on like the 3rd tab or so.

Then why can I not ping the computers inside the network?
