I have been reading a couple of threads and searching online, but still confused about how to perform this task. Well, Last month I purchased D-Link DIR-615 from Buy.com through http://www.dealrocker.com (http://www.dealrocker.com) discount deal. I have my laptop, an Xbox 360 and roommate computer on my wireless network. I always get slow Internet speed and network transfer rates on laptop and Xbox because his computer constantly munching up the bandwidth. Just wondering is there any way I can go on my router and limit his usage to 50%?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Short answer is no, not from D-links firmware.
You can install DD-WRT firmware and use Quality of Service.
See here for installing DD-WRT

What is your room mate doing to kill all the bandwidth, torrents?
My flatmates killed my connection with nonstop torrent downloads so I restricted all torrenting to midnight - 10am
