Title: DIR-655 Macbook Snow Leopard CanonMX300 Printer

Got Shareport to work on my Windows 7 desktop (which is right next to my printer) but I really need it to work on my Macbook which is nowhere near the printer.

I have Snow Leopard 10.6.4. Made sure I have Canon printer drivers installed (just in case they are needed). I updated my router to the latest version 1.34NA dated 5/20/2010 I installed the latest Mac shareport utility 3.0 dated 3/22/2010. After downloading and installing Shareport restarted my Macbook and had me allow an exception to my Mac firewall. When I attempt to connect using the shareport utility it says.

Connection to Canon MX300 series failed.

Anyone have any ideas?

Hi there,
I was considering to buy this router and use the shareport feature with my macs, i was just wondering if you have gotten this issue resolved.
