Title: Connecting NAS to Xbox 360.
Post by: liammaps2010 on August 05, 2010, 12:25:10 AM
I can get my NAS connected to my Windows Media Centre Computer but can't get it connected to my Xbox 360 which is connected to the Windows Media Centre computer using a Media Extender. Anyone figure this out yet so I can save some time?

I'm having a similar problem, I have xbox 360 slim and it comes with a wireless adapter but I can only connect the extender to my Pc using an ethernet cable. After I set up windows media center and disconnect the cable and trying to use the media center on my xbox I get a message that it can not locate the media center and that I need to connect the extender again. So you might want to try the ethernet cable  :-\

try this, updgrade the DNS-323 to v1.08 or 1.09, if not already done
then do a a reset to defaults.

Make sure that the UPnP Media Server, is enabled
Do a refresh of the listing

then on your Xbox go to "Video Library" and the DNS should show up there....
