Title: DIR 600 - Telephone and Internet not working simultaneously

Hi,

We have a cable modem (Scientific Atlanta), which connects to both our laptop and phone. Recently we bought a D-link DIR-600 wireless router. After started using this, we were not able to use both phone and internet simultaneously.

If we are using internet, the phone doesnot work (outgoing as well as incoming). If we use the phone, then the internet does not connect. Also, while using the internet, if we need to make a call, we have to close the laptop (internet connection) and then restart the modem to connect to phone.

Please advice to resolve this issue.

to clarify first:
- previously you where able to connect to internet and use phone line simultaneous?
- model for cable model? (maybe you can provide a pdf file)
- the dir600 is now connected via cable modem?

My appologies for the delay to reply.

1. Yes we were able to connect and use both internet and telephone simultaneously when using direct wire connection.

2. The cable modem model is EPC2203

3. The dir 600 is connected via the cable modem now.
