Title: DIR-655 drops ALL connections (wired and wireless) sometimes
Post by: mickeymouse on August 11, 2010, 12:58:11 PM
I am not a technical whiz so please pardon my ignorance.

Hardware Version: A3
Firmware: 1.20

Log shows

[INFO]   Wed Aug 11 11:35:20 2010   DNS relay ALG rejected packet from 192.168.0.198:64542 to 209.18.47.62:53

This repeats continuously till modem works again.  Does this mean it rebooted itself?

Thanks for the help.

perhaps you should try to disable dns relay and see what happens.

Or do not set wireless channel selection to 'automatic' (default setting). When a new channel is selected you will briefly loose wireless connection (duh)
