This just broke on Help.Net.Security (http://www.net-security.org/secworld.php?id=9723&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+HelpNetSecurity+%28Help+Net+Security%29):
D-Link routers get DNSSEC and CAPTCHA protection (http://www.net-security.org/secworld.php?id=9723&utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+HelpNetSecurity+%28Help+Net+Security%29)
I know we already have CAPTCHA, but does this mean we can expect a new firmware soon for the DNSSEC feature?

DNSSEC is very welcome and a great idea.

Seems really old news since captcha has been around in firmware for almost a year now.
I guess the DNSSEC could point towards the (again) already present Advanced DNS feature.
I have not seen any private router based application of DNSSEC, which has been designed specifically to protect DNS rootservers.

perhaps they are providing dnssec by running through dns servers of their choice if you turn on advanced dns service.
