I'm using IE8 on win7 to log into the DNS 323 because all of a sudden Firefox won't let me, I went into firefox and cleared the cache and removed the ck boxes on "dangerous" web sites and still won't work.
I messed around W7 and the certifiactes store on mmc.exe and that does not seem to work for me, but at leat IE8 just let's me ignore the "BAD" certificate of the web server on the DNS 323 and go to it. weird thing is the old firmware 1.06 worked ok and I just updated to 1.09 the certificate dates seem ok 2010 to 2013 ?
I wonder if there would be a way to update that certificate since it's in the firmware, telnet?

Hard to believe that's the issue, I've never seen anything like this with Firefox with either the DNS-321 or DNS-323.

It's the first time for me too, I'm trying to figure what is broken
does this forum allow attachments to be uploaded as in a .png screen capture ? I don't see it in any of the icons??

No attachment feature here, you need to have the image hosted on a site like http://photobucket.com/ (http://photobucket.com/), then use the Insert Graphic icon above on the toolbar line.

Well, I was never successful getting secure FTP working remotely. It worked fine locally, just could never connect over the Internet. Insecure FTP worked fine over the Internet.
You might also take note of the threads about secure FTP switching to clear mode right after the handshake, it appears all the data is sent in the clear anyway.
