Title: DLNA TV can not display all pictures
Post by: Bakul on August 12, 2010, 05:40:31 PM
I have Sony DLNA certified TV. I do stream all my pictures from computer using Window Media Player.

How ever from DNS-323 I can see only a few pictures and for other pictures some time I do see file list (only) and some times see a message that "No items to display"

All pictures are in Jpg format. My camera generate RAW files and I process them into Jpg using Photoshop.

Does any one know the solution? Is there any restriction on jpg format?

Note: There is no problem streaming music

Is there a difference between the images that do display and those that don't? File size, resolution, RGB/CMYK, EXIF data, permissions, file name format- spaces, special characters, JPG vs jpg vs jpeg, hidden files, pictures of ugly people? :)

Is it always the same files that can't be displayed?

Have you checked for a firmware upgrade for your TV?

Are you running the latest firmware version of the NAS?
