Title: Good Neighbor Policy and MHz Bandwidth
Post by: HatchAttach on August 14, 2010, 10:54:48 PM
Is there a way to lock in the 40 MHz Bandwidth on the DIR-825? The Auto is defaulting me back to MHz due to the Good Neighbor Policy. Unfortunately my City has put in free WiFi across the city with very high signal strength. The DIR-825 senses the strong city signals and kicks in the good neighbor policy thus throttling me back to 20 MHz.

Unfortunately, it's not possible. The reason that D-Link had it this way is because some Intel wireless won't work on 40.
