My router is currently connected with two computers (one wired and one wireless) and when I try to copy files from my desktop (wired to router using Realtek Gigabit Pci-e adapter) to my HTPC (wireless, using Rosewill RNX-N180UBE N adapter) I get ridiculously low speeds. I have setup my router as per the sticky thread but still I have no luck. The best transfer speed that I've seen so far is around 20Mb (using LAN Speed Test software).
Attached are the screen capture of what my settings looks like. Please take a look and let me know what am I doing wrong.

20MB or 20 Mb ?
20 MB is about 160 Mbps which is great for wireless
Real worl wireless is often about 1/3 of the hype speeds....so if its connecting at .11G 20Mbps isn't so bad....

Sorry, I meant Mb. So you think that 20Mb instead of 300Mb is acceptable speed ?

Sticky says your adapters have to be DLink as well.
300 Mbps connection requirements (http://forums.dlink.com/index.php?topic=616.0)

So without D-link wireless adapter I'm not even gonna get G speeds ?

No, it is advised to use Dlink adapters. But the bulk of the adapters work fine.
You need to take into account the distance, obstructions etc. (the normal wireless issues). Was your test performed with the target system within a couple of feet from the router?

No, the target is in another room, probably about 20 feet or so away.

Try antoher N wireless NIC.
The Rosewil has these specs: "Up to 300Mbps download rate and 150Mbps upload rate"
So although the 20 Mbps is still on the low side, the wireless NIC is not full N specs.
