Title: DFL800 : Two users cannot VPN in from the same site
Post by: andrew.keating on August 19, 2010, 12:06:24 PM
Using PPTP VPN for roaming users - works fine for users working from home etc

Occasionally 2 users (2 people, each with their own VPN account) will be at the same client site (same gateway IP) - both connect to the VPN at the same time - each connection drops the other one.

Is there a way to allow multiple VPN connections from the same source IP as long as they use different user accounts?

thanks.  Is there any other way to set this up for roaming users behind the same NAT IP?

L2TP/IPsec with customer IDs, or IPsec with custom IDs.
