I'm looking at picking up two of these drives for a RAID-1 configuration:
HITACHI Deskstar H3IK10003272SP (0S02860) 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822145368 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822145368)
I've looked through the compatibility lists and don't see them listed. Any thoughts?
Thanks,
DJ

Truthfully, I'd be looking for a 5400 RPM drive with lower power consumption to minimize the heat. You won't get any advantage to a 7200 RPM drive in this box, so why generate more heat?

I am looking at picking up two of these as well. The price is too good to pass up. However if they won't work then the price point advantage is lost.

Take the compatibility lists with a grain of salt. We do not test every drive on the market and only list the ones we have tested or users have tested. There really isn't any 'reason' a drive should not work as long as it has a sata connector. Even AFT drives work just currently at a reduced performance.

I bought 2 of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822145304&cm_re=1_tb_hard_drive-_-22-145-304-_-Product (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822145304&cm_re=1_tb_hard_drive-_-22-145-304-_-Product) and they work flawlessly, they are the cheapest 1TB drives on newegg ;)
